As late as 1938, Mina was a railroad transportation center, as a junction for the Tonopah & Goldfield as well as branches of the Southern Pacific. Today, Mina is a stop on the road which affords a nice view of Pilot Peak rising 9,184 feet in the east. Mina offers an RV park, budget-priced motels and not much more!
