The park's red color is seen in the first couple of miles of the scenic
road. We should have stopped.
Because the final eleven miles of the scenic route look like this!
Mama burro gives us the eye while her young one grazes.
Burros nibble sage by the roadside...
...Until two car loads of idiots stop and start feeding the burro Skittles
candy. The two-legged asses enticed the burro to stick its head into the
open minivan for a picture. As we passed by, the burro was refusing to
back out!
