One physician was J.A. Huntsman, M.D. The family plot sits on the south side of US50 in Austin, Nevada, just west of town.

The family plot contains the mortal remains of his wife, Gertrude who died at the age of 22 on 6/26/1877. She was from St. Joseph, Missouri. Also buried here is his wife Alice who died 4/20/1902. Alice was over 80 (perhaps 87) years old and came to Austin from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Perhaps the good doctor is also buried here but his name doesn't appear on the obelisk and the plot is extremely overgrown with thorn bushes preventing us from determining if any smaller headstones or markers are present.
